Beverage Analysis
The beverage analysis investigates possible reactions between the beverage and the container.
In development projects in particular, a series of specific beverage parameters are analysed to eliminate the influence of the container and to guarantee the premium quality of the product for the entire shelf life.
Quick Test
The Quick Test developed by the Technical Center is unique. Using this process it is possible to make reliable statements on the expected shelf life and possible migration reaction of new beverages in cans within just four weeks.

It is not then necessary to carry out time-consuming and expensive long-term storage trials for the customer. This test gives our customers the opportunity to test their innovative products for compatibility with our containers and launch them on the market within a very short time span.
Beverage Properties
Beverage cans must satisfy the widely differing requirements of a large variety of beverages to guarantee the quality of the beverages over a long shelf life. The Technical Center has developed a series of analytical methods to assess beverage quality: Parameters such as sensory characteristics, beer foam stability, oxygen content, turbidity and colour. The effectiveness of pasteurisation and sterilisation is crucial to microbiological stability. Metal absorption is also an important assessment criterion, both for the suitability of the container and also for the design of the seal.
