Test Field

The Technical Center not only develops new production processes and containers but also tests their functionality.

The test field is equipped with its own production machines to run practical trials with small quantities and to produce sample cans for the customer. It is, for example, possible to test new metal forming processes or printing techniques. 

  

Aim of the test series performed in the test field is to gain greater understanding of all process mechanisms on an on-going basis in order to provide optimal production conditions at the Ball Packaging Europe production facilities.
