The fluorescent varnish, which glows in the dark when "black light" or UV light shines on the steel can, gives the can design that exceptional touch. This special varnish used by Ball Packaging Europe absorbs the radiation which hits the can when it is exposed to light or invisible radiation (e.g. UV light).´The special feature of this innovation are the molecules in the fluorescent varnish. The absorbed radiation causes these molecules to glow.
